The sun was setting... Patiently waiting for Mark to finish his call so we could head back down the mountain. It was dark before we got out :)
Shanti loved having a few guests over to bring in the new year. However, he did not like it so much when the horns came out and were blown. It must have hurt his ears because it didn't take too long before he was barking along. He did really well when I had him hold the horn in his mouth for this pic, but then came the hat and he was a little less cooperative. He did pause (from shaking his head left to right) just long enough for me to capture the moment. Wishing all a happy and prosperous 2010!
Just like a little kid who can't put down his toy, Shanti wanted to hold his Christmas treat; a peanut butter filled bone. yum! Wishing you and all of yours a very Merry Christmas! Ruff :)
Shanti wishes Jenni many more wonderful days filled with happiness, love and Clamato! And of course Zach feels the same. :) Shanti had Zach overnight for a sleep over last night. The two of them have a lot of fun together, but I had to keep reminding Shanti that it is not proper to be jumping on the back of your best friend :) The three of us slept downstairs and everytime I would roll over they thought it was time to play and started licking my face. Oh, and speaking of licking...while I was trying to take the first pic above of just Shanti... I asked Zach to step out of the pic. He did but of course had to stop by the red beer and take a few laps with his tongue! oops. Don't worry...I didn't let a good beer go to waste :)
