Before there was Shanti, we had two other sets of 3 boys who lived with us. First and foremost we have our three sons: Jake, Adam, and John (in reverse order in the above picture). What a delight they were. Just shy of three years between the oldest and youngest, we had a very busy household. I have always loved this pic of them, taken in early 1986. I always tease that this was when they were at the ages where they would listen and do EVERYTHING that their parents asked. No questions asked! We look forward to them meeting Shanti. Many times they asked if they could have a dog, and all three of them have had dogs in their adult lives. However while the kids were growing up we were enjoying our other three boys...our cats Luigi, Tux, and Gobo. And thus the name for Shanti's blog: 4thboy
