Getting ready to get on the bus
The anxiously awaited day finally came. Shanti was really excited when Elizabeth and Susan from St. Francis came over (and showed them by jumping up on them...one of those bad habits of his we have been working on) for Wes and Shanti's level four test. This included getting on and off the bus, maneuvering around the mall and going to a restaurant in the mall. Basically, Wes needed to show that he could SAFELY handle Shanti in public. Shanti got to show off by paying for the pizza. He takes the bill in his mouth and stands up to the counter to give the money. He also got to put some trash in the trash can. How can you not think and say "Ahhh" (so cute) when he does these chores. He, of course, loves to help and gets a small treat when he does these work tasks.

Shanti waits while Wes gets off........Back home safely
