Power walk!

Shanti is thrilled with Wes's new power chair. Wes zips through the neighborhood with Shanti jogging beside him. This clip shows testing the chair right after the power was turned up to approx 4 miles/hr. (from 1 mi/hr). They have since perfected their style. Wes found a way to attach the leash to the chair and only allows Shanti so much slack. Shanti has learned to tune his steps with the speed and turns of the chair. They are in sync! It is very interesting to watch. The other day when I woke from my nap, I learned that Wes and Shanti had an outing to Walmart. (approx 10 minute trip each way) Wes went to have his beard trimmed and Shanti sat happily beside him. Lisa, the technician came by yesterday to turn the speed all the way up allowing Wes to travel over 6 miles per hour. We are really looking forward to getting it out on some trails.
