What a weekend!

First there was camping. Here Shanti is tuckered out on the way home. Who would think that once we got home, he would have enough energy for.....


...Swimming! Just a few days before we went on our weekend church campout, Wes and I took Shanti for a walk at Green Hill park. Just before leaving we decided to take Shanti down near the river to see if he had any inclination towards the water. While Wes watched on, I took Shanti down to the river edge. He nearly pulled me in! All we could do was wade because we hadn't planned on this and didn't have a longer leash with us. Poor guy. He wanted to swim SO bad. It was right then that we decided Shanti needed to have his own swimming pool in the back yard. Although it is not very big, he sure has a good time in it. When he was finished swimming, it was time for the first official.....
